GPW is a volunteer self supporting organization.  To keep the registration fee down we need to increase funds thru fundraising.

 Come have pancakes at Applebee’s or place an ad in the year book, sell car wash tickets or take a book from one or all of our vendors and see how much you can sell. There are many ways to help raise money for new cheer uniforms for the younger squads and new football jerseys for the older teams.  GPW is also in need of a new PA system and an overhang to keep it out of the different weather conditions we experience during the season.  Even work towards building an announcer booth in the future.   

To encourage participation from as many families as possible we have devised this handy list of ways you can support GPW and your son and/or daughter in 2008!

 1. June 14th is a pancake breakfast at Applebee’s in Schenectady near the Home Depot.  We need people to sign up to work that morning, no cooking, just greeting and serving guests.  27 adults are needed. You will need to report to the Applebee’s at 7:30 and stay until 10:30.  Just 3 hours of your time can help us earn up to $1,200.00.  If you can’t work, why not come eat? You can purchase tickets for $5.00 each by mailing a check to address above; the tickets will then be mailed back to you.  

 2. Hoffman Car Wash fundraiser: GPW will receive 50% of every car wash sold and you don’t even have to wash a car.  Take the order form attached and sell the exterior and/or full service wash to friends and family.  Mail your order form along with checks made payable to GPW to the address above by April 30th and the tickets will be sent back to you by May 12th.   Too busy to mail the order forms back?  You can drop them off to any board member at sneaker night or during equipment pick up.  Then within a couple of weeks the tickets will be mailed to you.  There is no expiration date on these car washes!

 3. August 7th place an order with At Home America, Lia Sophia, Pampered Chef or Tupperware and help GPW make up to 40% on all orders placed.  We also receive $$ for every party booked.  Each vendor will have books on hand at sneaker night and during the equipment pick up night.  Then come to the field on September 4th to pick up your orders and make deliveries to friends and family who purchased from you.  Book a party now with one of the vendors and GPW can start collecting $$ for the bookings.

4. Do you or someone you know own a business?  Advertise in our year book that is given out at the banquet in December.  Just download and complete  the order form and mail it in with your check made payable to GPW to the address above.
